Thanks much man! I really don't like the DI bass tone either. I need something else. I used Amplitude for the bass. Anyone else using this software, I would love to know your secrets for a good bass tone using it! Gary

Members riffy
Thanks mucho guys! I used the Peavy Triumph thru its own speaker thru the right side for rhythm. I used the same amp thru a Mesa 4X12 with vintage 30s in it for the left side rhythm track. Both are played the same though. THe lead is the Peavy too with a doubled lead panned way to one side with 125 ms delay on the panned side. The part straight down the middle is totally dry! Members Blucifer Hazelnut
Sounds very good! I would consider slightly less preamp/pedal overdrive on the lead, or/and sligthly less compressed tone on the lead. B.
Members vancleaf
More mids for guitar...but thats just me. Otherwise it sounds real nice. Good playing too!

Members riffy
You guys rock! Thank you very much. Does anyone have any clue how I can get rid of the muddiness via eq in my software after recording? I actually suck at eq'ing guitars and such. I just stick up a mic in a good position I think and hit record! Gary
