Members namlow
I was wondering if there was such thing as a service someone could provide over the internet that converted midi files (digital information) into an actual audio recording of a grand piano via midi automation of a grand piano. I did a google search and discovered pianobello...a service that does exactly what I was describing above. I was quite impressed with the results. You can do a comparison here: My song "Universe" before pianobello: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=7450528 My song Universe after using pianobello: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8159467 All I did was find the midi files to the piano tracks I wanted converted. (At the time that I recorded these tracks, I wasn't planning on using such a service, but I'm pretty good at keeping my midi files for easy editing later). I sent pianobello the midi files via email attachment. Pianobello's automated grand piano was recorded as it responded to the midi information it was "fed". That's the basic essence of how it works. My song, though simple as far as the piano is concerned, benefited tremendously from this service.
