Members Manitou
The local guitar shop has got a Behringer GMX212 in. I tried it for about 10-15 minutes played with the effects cranked it up a fair bit to see if it had enough balls for the application I would be using it in (trio). Everything seems to be decent, the price isn't bad given the shop (mom and pop dealie). I've read alot of reviews in the past week on them and it seems like alot of people think Behringer gear doesn't stand the test of long term rocking out. Anyone have any input on the matter? I haven't put any money down but I told the shop keep that I'd probably pick it up later in the week.
Members bobocrunch
I have the earlier incarnation of this amp - the gx 212. The onboard effects are ok..... but both speakers blew out after prolonged use. I replaced them with Eminence Black Powders and now it screams (for the price). I use it with a digitech hot head pedal and my ricky 620. Great versatile solid state for it's price. The jensen speakers were crap though...... I'd say buy it.
