Members O D Posted March 28, 2006 Members Share Posted March 28, 2006 Anyone who is familiar with Engl equipment: when was the 840/50 introduced and when did the 830/50 go out of production? Did the first 840 models actually have el34's in them, or have they always been equipped with 5881/6l6 tubes? I am offered an Engl 840/50 poweramp, which used to have el34 tubes in the power section, but according to the seller, they were later swapped and a fixed bias for mesa 6l6 tubes was done.
