Members Billy Dee Posted April 1, 2006 Members Share Posted April 1, 2006 It looks like I bought a lemon on Ebay. I just had my Traynor YGM-3 delivered via Fedex today. In short, it powers up, but there is nothing but faint crackling notes coming out of it that don't sustain. Obviously, I'm not happy. I see that the two Philips 6BQ5 tubes glow when powered on. It doesn't appear that any of the four Philips 12AX7A tubes glow. I only feel two of the 12AX7A tubes are warm. Could this be a case of needing new tubes ? Thanks in advance.
