Members StratAttackJack
Well I just purchased my first tube amp, its the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe with the Blonde covering. I got it used for $450. There wasnt a damn thing wrong with it!!! Now my deluxe american strat really f-ing sings like I never thought possible. I hate solid state. Members jonny guitar
Now get yourself some NOS tubes and then get onto the boutique effects and small market luthier bandwagon and you are golden.
Members TheGZeus,OnFire
If you ever want more volume, look for a used Peavey Delta Blues. Run stereo. The verbs are different, the dirt's different, the tremolo will give you alot more space to your sound than you might think. I personally prefer the Peavey Classic sound, but if I could have any switching combo for free to run stereo, the Hot Rod's up there.
