Members FWAxeIbanez
So i decided to start another thread, any amp techs 'round? I need to figure this out, I switched out all the tubes now, and I still have the same problem, a huuuge (like 90%) volume drop... it is a consistent drop, doesn't waiver like I'd imagine a bad cable would cause, and its not the tube, so I have no clue whats wrong... I'm gonna take it to a tech, but I have no clue how much it would cost and what it could be, anybody have any ideas?

Members cyndicate
Im no amp tech but my .22+ was doing the same thing. But the problem was a stupid one. It would happen if I had something plugged into the fx loop that wasnt powered on. For example, my boss rc-20xl was hooked up to the fx loop but wasnt powered so for some odd reason it dropped the volume like mad, until I plugged it in and then lets just say my master was up pretty high and the thing ended up scaring the {censored} outta me Maybe yours is more serious, i dont know
Members comfortablynumb
My ad100vt does this every so often.. I turn the amp after just hooking everything up to it, and my volume is super low. 90% as you say.. I don't know what it is.. I just unplug the cables from the fx loop and plug them back in.. it fixes the problem. Really weird.
