Members Themetallikid
I'm curiuos how much the size of the tube effects the tone/sound. I think I remember hearing that a smaller tube will reduce the low end of the signal, and make it sound thinner. I noticed Richie Sambora uses a pretty small tube. Slash on the other hand uses what looks close to what Heil ships. I have experimented and got a smaller tube to fit inside the tube Heil gave me, and it did seem to increase the brightness of the sound. Would the opposite work? if I got a slightly bigger tube would it make it sound a bit fatter? allowing more bass to come through.

Members SkyhighRocks
I've used both sizes and found that it doesn't make that big of a difference...the larger tube is little more difficult to control and also a little more uncomfortable...but it never hurts to experiment!
