Members 1big1
i plan on building me some bleeder resistors and was wondering what some of you more technical types suggest. i've done a little reading and found several suggestions. one suggestion was a 10k 2W resistor which would give you a pretty fast bleed. the other suggestion was to use anything between 10K and 100K and something rated between 2W and 5W. the up side to that it there's less chance of the resistor blowing.. but it takes longer to discharge the caps. what are some of you guys using and what do you suggest? thanks in advance.
