Members Eye_Of_The_Liger Posted May 21, 2006 Members Share Posted May 21, 2006 Ok, the Bright channel on my Sunn Model T sounds fine. It positively rocks, in fact. But I'm having this weird noice coming out of the Normal channel. It's hard to descibe, but it kinda sounds like the sound a microphone makes when you blow on it, or how a scratchy volume knob sounds when you turn it, only a lot worse, and it's overpowering the sound of my guitar. What does it mean? Do I have a bad preamp tube that just need to be replaced, or is it something else? Thanks to any and all for help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Members Abouttreefitty Posted May 23, 2006 Members Share Posted May 23, 2006 I'm guessing it's a preamp tube. If you have some extra ones, swap them to see if that's the problem.
