Members mekke
Amp folks! I need help.I use my marshall for several recordings. Lately I bought a SM 57 to record. I am not new to recording, and more often than not I am happy with the sounds I get But whenever I record saturated distortion, the result is poor: sound like the somebody forced the sound into a can of coke, or some sort of metal container that makes the resonance so weak. I cannot cranck this amp all the way due to neighbours My recording settings: main volume: 3dist channel volume : 10gain: 5 What am I doing wrong? Any suggestion to succeed recording a solid rock saturated distortion (Sound of Nickelback guitarist - dunno his name...- is close to perfection IMO)Any new input might help, thanks for reading, (and not moving this one to the recording forum which is totally deserted)Matteo
