Members ScottIans Beard
If anyone is at a loss for something to do this afternoon, could they post a good clip of a Piezo going through a POD or similar? Contrasting the piezo with some high gain would be nice. Im eyeing up a Piezo equipped guitar for some versatility when recording, but im not sure how convincing/cool the sounds are? Cheers! My RG2127X is a tad {censored}ed at the moment... but I'll say, "piezo with some high gain would be nice," is just plain wrong. Nice is the last thing that combination produces. I was curious about that too once upon a time... then I tried it... it's not something I'd ever use. There's a piezo patch in the POD XT... just that preset can get some pretty sweet results IMO. Of course, it'd never top a nice mic'd acoustic, but who really expects it to....
