Members Goofball Jones
Some enterprising person should set up a piano demo database. What I'm thinking is getting a standard MIDI file that has a solo piano piece on it. Have people download this and run it through their keyboards and record the sound. Just basic, factory patch of the piano on the board. Run it MIDI file and record it dry. Then upload the raw sound file to the database. That way we can A/B compare something like a Kurzweil PC3 to a Kurzweil K2600 to a Nord Piano to it's Electro 2 and 3 to whatever to all the Yamaha and Roland variants and models. Old and new boards. I don't know...just a thought.

Members Goofball Jones
Nice database...a little out of date...but still nice. No Korg SV-1 nor Yammy S90xs yet for instance. Thanks for the link.

Members Goofball Jones
Well, I downloaded the midi file they used, and recorded the S90xs S6 piano on it and sent him the raw WAV file. Dunno if he'll use it or not.
