Choosing the right QSC K's

For quite a long time I've been wanting my very own powered speakers, and right now seems like a good time. I recieved a lot of recommendations on the QSC K series... but alas, they come in different sizes.

I'm unaware of whether I need the 10's or the 12's. I won't be able to hear them, but I can let you know of my needs. I'd like to be able to use them at home (will the fans be a problem?) as well as in medium-sized rooms and venues, as well as semi-big rooms: small churches, conference rooms with up to 100 people.

 

So, my question remains: will the K10's suffice for my needs? Will they also be suitable for home use, catering for tender piano playing?
