Members solomon8
I agree. I have a lot of the major sampled piano libraries and they sound great, but Pianoteq has a playability that is hard to beat.
Members stickman393
Read the press release: http://pianoteq.com/press/press_release_2010_05_26 .pdf Anyone who thought Pianoteq was pricey has no reason not to get it now! I read the press release, but I guess I still don't understand what the difference between PLAY and the regular Pianoteq product is. The price is very nice - I figure there has to be some feature we're not paying for... but what?
Members evildragon
The difference: you can only play presets and tweak EQ, Velocity, effects. You CANNOT tweak any of the physical modelling parameters at all, so no soundboard adjustment, harmonic and hammer thickness adjustment, string length, sympethetic resonances, microphone modeling is also not available. It's just a pure preset player, for players, not tweakers!
