Members atbear
If I have my amp biased to a set of tubes (say SED EL34s), and the Plate Current and Transconductance of those tubes are written on the boxes... if I order a set of tubes with the same measurements, can I stick them in my amp and expect to get the same bias reading (say, 70%)? Members Eric the fish
nope. well, maybe. depends on whether you get from the same place and if they test the plate current at the same plate / screen / grid voltages.

Yeah, assuming the tubes are coming from the same dealer (Doug's Tubes).
