Members underblu
I'm looking for an amp around $1k that does blues classic rock and maybe a touch of alternative. I briefly played through and like both these amps: Fender Vibrolux and Mesa F-50. My primary guitars are two LPs and R7 and R0. The R7 is very bright and punchy almost stratish through the mids with more meat; while the R0 is big round woodyand can sound almost too thick through a dark amp. Any suggestions and comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
Members Loghead
I vote for the Vibrolux 'cause I know how good humbuckers sound through them.
Members hal9000
I can't help you with the Vibrolux, but if you have any specific questions about the F-50 ask away. Follow the link in my sig to the F-series lounge where there is a lot of info and clips.
Members GCDEF
Those are very, very different amps. I don't see how you could be unsure between them. Look at the Fender SuperSonic.
Members danbronson
I own an F-50 and love it to death, but the lead channel doesn't sound that great with a les paul in my opinion. it's just too much on the low end.
