Members ZeBop Deluxe
I just bought a Dave Smith Tetra and it sounds killer. But out of the box, its pitch is a half-step sharp, e.g., plays a B when you press Bb. Is this simply a matter of going into global pitch, or before I start messing around, should:confused: I try something else?
Members EarthmanVIII
Have you checked your reference pitch? Maybe Tetra is alright but the other source is one semi-tone flat. If not, tune the Tetra and be done with it. If it's something really annoying like it screws working with the sequencer, contact DSI.

Members ZeBop Deluxe
yeah, I tested the Tetra against two Tritons, and then, just be be sure, against Hammond C-3. The Tetra is a half-step sharp.
Members Awakened_Yeti
there are a few global settings that will do that have you read the manual?
Members ZeBop Deluxe
Yeah I'm no Einstein but I reset stuff and tailor programs on my other synths (Tritons and Prophet 600), it just baffles me it would arrive "sharp." Thanks!
Members EarthmanVIII
If everything's alright after setting it up properly, I wouldn't worry. New guitars don't come in tune either.
Members ZeBop Deluxe
lol, how true. I'll just get into the global tuning or transpose and see wot's up.
