Members StoneWireJack Posted November 22, 2011 Members Share Posted November 22, 2011 Hi there, sorry for posting on such an old thread, but I'm experiencing very similary dilemmas and wondered if you'd found a solutions yet! I'm running my BM through an Orange 2x12 with Vintage 30s and this sounds very, very harsh and bright when you crank the amp up. I've been offered 4 x 25w 1975 Greenbacks for free and want to try them out in a 4x12 with the BM as I'd read up that the GBs have a top-end roll off that would work well in taming the brightness of the BM. Although I've also been looking at the G12H30s which look like they have the low-end that I love about the Vintage 30s. I play mainly blues-based hard rock.. loud.
