Need help with speaker choice!!

I'm gonna be ordering an Avatar 4x12 cab soon and I can't decide on what speakers to get. I want tight, fat, and huge bottom end with a really crisp and not harsh midrange. Just an awesome sound. I had a swamp thang/tonker mix in mind, but it's gonna cost about $150 more than a 4xVintage 30 set.

 

Gonna be used with a rocktron velocity 100 watt poweramp and a podxt.

eminence speakers are great... i own a black powder, a swamp thang, and a texas heat. The black powder is in my fender stagee 100, and it turned a meidocre amp into a usuable amp as my backup.

my main cab is a 2x12 with the texas heat and swamp thing... i highly highly recommend this speaker combo. I dont know about the tonker.....

or 4 emi wizards.

or 4 emi commonwealths

or 4 weber silver bells (if they're available from Dave?)

You'll get crisp if you get all V30's. Might be ok with 4 of them, but the SwampThang is a very smooth speaker.

 

I think the Silver Bells would be very crisp also, I'd try Blue Dogs before I'd go with 4 SB's.....

G12H30's or Wizards. Huge tight low end, lots of grunt/punch, very articulate and versatile sounding speakers. From classic to heavey, clean or dirty they're great!
