Members SUV Steve
Hello... I have a VC3112 and the effects loop doesn't seem to work properly... I know it is a TRS jack and I can access the power amp in using a regular 2-conductor cord. But I'm not getting any signal out of the preamp, at least not with the cobbled-together adapters and such I have. Does anyone know if perhaps they are using the tip as common instead of the sleeve, in which case I guess I'd need some proprietary cord? grrrrr I'm thinking that if all were working properly, I should be able to take a 3-conductor plug and connect the tip and ring leads together... plugging this in I should get my normal sound, is that not correct? thxSL
Members GCDEF
I believe they're TS, not TRS but I could be wrong. I just use TS in my V3112 and it works properly.
Members Daryl Licht
According to the manual I downloaded from Crate's website: Tip = ReturnRing = SendSleeve = Ground Hope that answers the question.
