I, the undersigned, do hereby pledge not purchase any new gear this month, for the following reason(s) (please check all that apply): _ x _ 1) My wallet says, "no". _ x _ 2) My spouse or significant other says, "no". __ 3) Rehashed and warmed-over product offerings are not worthy. __ 5) Micro keys. Goddammit. __ 4) I already have enough gear, thank you very much. __ 6) No one will buy my old gear to feed my habit. __ 7) I have an OASYS. Neener, neener. Therefore, I resolve to throw off the shackles of soulless consumerism and kick my GAS monkey to the curb by diving deeper into the gear I already have in my vain attempt to sound exactly like Radiohead and/or Boards of Canada.
