Members NovaHawk Posted September 19, 2006 Members Share Posted September 19, 2006 So, a few months ago my Trem-o-verb 212 combo started losing gain on both channels and having a pretty annoying white noise while playing... I took it into the mesa shop in hollywood and the guy changed the tubes, tested it out, said it was fine. So I took it back and now it's doing the same {censored} again! Arrg! Another thing he told me that this white noise was "normal", but it seems like it's gotten worse. What's up guys? Anyone have any suggestions? Members NovaHawk Posted September 19, 2006 Author Members Share Posted September 19, 2006 He replaced all tubes, both poweramp and preamp, using Mesa tubes (6L6).
