Members mark7171 Posted September 19, 2006 Members Share Posted September 19, 2006 hello, i have a question. i m lookin at a 90's princeton chorus red knob made in the USA. edoes anybody know if the jensen P10R speaker or Weber 10A100 will sound better. the stock 8 ohm speakers are fender special designs. i thought they sound great clean, distorted they have a cool paper noise too. using a wah or Q control you can find the limitations fast. my stock woofers have so many hours of play i though it might be nice to throw a couple, or even one nice new speaker in it. i dont want to sacrifice any response or sensitivity. if you grew up on a princeton for your practice amp, you know these are really awesome "new" vintage SS equipment. im leaning toward the jensen alnico P10, but hear they arent made like they used to. they were recently compared to Realistic, Radio Shack quality. you oppinions are valued...
