Members Cheese Grits Posted September 21, 2006 Members Share Posted September 21, 2006 I just bought a 1968 Fender Bronco, which I understand to be more or less identical to the blackface Vibro Champ... except for the cosmetics and the name. I got a sweet deal on this little guy, but there are a couple of issues. First, it is not quite as loud as I would have expected. Second, the treble and bass pots do not work as expected. The Treble pot seems to turn the volume up and down, and the bass pot seems to do nothing. Other than this, everything it sweet as pie. Do you think a good tube tech can fix this up, and at what cost? Thanks in advance! Grits P.S. Just because, here's the info on the Bronco and the Vibro Champ.
