Members Pavel
Ok, When I roll up to a stop sign, stop, and then go into 1st and begin to move again, there is a weird "clink" or "clunk" that comes from under the hood somewhere. It happens just as I begin to move in 1st gear. Any idea what it could be? Sorry... kind of a vague description, but a lot of you guys seem to know your car stuff, so I thought I'd check. The car is an Acura 1.6 EL '00 (a civic basically)... about 110k on it.
Members SteveVHT
If it's a clunk, the first things I would look at are the motor mounts and tranny mounts... Very easy fix... Steve

Members Hua and a tele
I work in the aito industry for dealers and used to be at a Honda dealer the motor mounts are prone to failure in high mileage honda/acura's and the noise your describing in the motor moving when the flywheel(transmission) and motor engage. They aren't overly difficult to change
