Members HSL
I'm honestly sick of having to open Cubase every single time I've got an idea for a song. I've got enough synths and drum modules/pads to start working out stuff a bit more in a 'live' setting. This brings me onto two questions: 1) Is there a simple hardware sequencer out there that will record and send midi data that you could recommend? If it has audio recording features it's cool, I won't use it much though. 2) If I don't go the hardware route I'd like to get a simple, light, easy midi sequencing program with basically no audio features at all. DAWs lock up my FireFace since it's in take-over mode. Just something that will detect my midi interface that has a piano roll. Anything you could recommend on that part?
