Members fiveightandten Posted November 4, 2006 Members Share Posted November 4, 2006 I have a Dell Dimension 3000, which isn't the best machine out there, but it gets the job done and has enough power for what I do. It has a Celeron, and 512MB RAM, which i'll probably be upgrading to 1G soon. I don't do any serious recording, mostly just using my PODxt direct through the USB out, and Kristal (freeware recording program). I want a sound card that's reasonably priced that will let the POD sound better, and things sound better overall. I've been using the USB out on the POD, because currently, if I use the Line out into the soundcard, and record more than one track, it mixes the playback signal with the newly recorded one.
