The cabinet belongs to a buddy of mine and has Celestion G12-50's. This thing has surprisingly good tone and volume, all it needs is a little bit more brightness (which I'll fix shortly). It's a very good fat gritty tone when you crank it. Near the sweet spot it has nice pretty clean if you play softly and if you dig in it goes into a great gritty fat sustaining sound like the John Fogerty's solo in heard it through the grapevine. At this setting it's plenty loud too, like get over the drums at practice loud. After that it gets pretty nasty. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
