Members guitardude24
Ya, so basically I have a few songs I made in Garage Band on my mac and I want to upload them onto soundclick and myspace and sites that that...but they require MP3's and when I export the song from garage band to itunes or to the disc, it's an M4A file. I searched download.com for an OSX mp3 convertor and got no hits... Help?!
Members Taco2004
Have you tried adding .mp3 to the end of the file or using Itunes?

Members .homewrecker.
If you go to share, then click on export song to disk it'll dump it into whatever folder you tell it too in a .m4p or something like that, then you can just click on the file, then command+i and change the extension to .mp3 that should work
Members flytrapx
Yeah, in itunes go to preferences>advanced>importing make sure import file is set to mp3 encoder. Then select song(s) and go to the advanced menu at the top of the screen, and choose convert to mp3 file. You'll need to search in the library for the files and there will be 2 of each so just check the info and you can see which are the mp3's:thu: Also, in case you didn't know, While selecting a song press command+R and it will show the file in a finder window.
