Members LooP68 Posted November 21, 2006 Members Share Posted November 21, 2006 My Savage Se that i jsut got off the 'bay seems to still have the factory ENGL tubes in it. The amp must be at least 2 years old, and I think the tubes are a little tired. What do you think the best approach would be?Would the amp need to be re-biased? (how, etc..) Which tube brands would you recommend for this amp considering I would like a modern sound lot of gritty tight bottom end and subdued treble?
