Members mr-moe Posted January 5, 2007 Members Share Posted January 5, 2007 Have come across a Sceptre Amp made in Hamilton Ontario Canada. I am looking for any info on this Company and the amps that it made. I have read a couple of reviews on Sceptre Amps on this site. Good stuff but with out pictures it's hard to ID the amp I have. It has 4 - 12AX7 tubes, 1 - 12AT7 tube, 1 - tube with no numbers and 2 - 5881 outputs. There is a reverb tank in the bottom of the case. Hammond 79737 power trans. and Hammond 79735 output trans. Members Unstrung Posted January 5, 2007 Members Share Posted January 5, 2007 Yeah I've got a little Sceptre combo. It's like their take on a Vibro Champ. It sounds pretty nice and warm and I can crank it up to ten for really nice sounding gain. Not much to say about the company... I've searched too, they must have been tiny.
