Members separanets Posted January 9, 2007 Members Share Posted January 9, 2007 Marshall TSL C212 2x12 vs Mesa/Boogie Open Back 1x12. I'm thinking horribly of a replacment of my 2x12 cabinet, which is the Marshall TSL C212 aimed to complete the TSL100 head. It's too large for my room. Besides, the most perfect sound you can hear when standing right on the direct way the sound is coming. Actually, right opposit the speakers. Apart of these two inconveniences, I'm quite satisfied with my TSL cab. So my question is how much I will lose/gain in sound if I trade my TSL for the Mesa/Boogie Open Back 1x12? I disregard the wattage now. I know that it's less in size and open back. Maybe there are some other 1x12 cabs that will suit my needs, like Brunetti MiniCab, Mesa/Boogie Compact cab? Thanks.
