Members shmoe Posted February 17, 2007 Members Share Posted February 17, 2007 I just got a Mesa Boogie Maverick 2x12.First off i bought the thing because it was practically brand new.when i got it the row of preamp tubes in the back had a metal plate covering them. It was held up by a couple plastic fastners. The fasteners broke somehow during shipping and 3 of the tubes broke. The outside tolex had not one thing wrong with it. perfect shape. brand new.Now theres a big gash on one of the edges. besides these two things and replacing the tubes(which is no big deal)what is the best way to file a claim with UPS?Im not just looking for money either. I would really like to have these things repaired.I know how much tubes cost.but how do i put the values of the damaged items for something like a tiny plastic fastner? Or to repair tolex? I have heard of people using rubber cement, glue or whatever but i cant see that looking very well.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
