Members gregwar
i really love these guys stuff: http://folktek.com/instruments some is fairly avant garde even nowadays but each instrument is hand made with usually patch points, contact plates, resonators/sound boards, etc. (although they seem to mod a lot of omnichords too) they have a sample library for kontakt that i'm prolly gonna get around jan or feb [video=youtube;HNJWh3thZoY] [video=youtube;5z5Wjx-sn8w]

Members deadvolvo1
Movement Systems Drum Computers: and this one familiar to anyone who's seen the Eurythmics "Sweet Dream" video: If I understand correctly, the orange one was used for the drums on both Sweet Dreams and Here Comes The Rain Again? Saw this on MatrixSynth a while back, couldn't remember the name: "Pluto 3000".....

Members Conbrio
How about this--two obscure vintage monsters in one video. The Maplin 5600S and the RSF Kobol rack! [video=youtube;zRnSsvXofbk]

Members Bernard
That's a controller with a Mac Mini inside. Not analog. Still falls under ''Obscure and unique synths'' though... Many of the synths in this thread are ''Not analog'' as you did not ask for that... LOL

Members Conbrio
Here's one I almost forgot about--the Thunderchild synth. This very rare keyboard was created for Jeff Wayne's musical version of War of the Worlds. It was also supposedly available for sale in the UK. More information, plus a B&W ad for the synth here: http://retrosynthads.blogspot.com/2011/07/jwm-electronics-thunderchild-ad.html Picture of the album cover below. Members Purity_Control
That's not that obscure of unique. Does look very cool. I'm told the build quality on it is quite poor.
