Never played either of those amps. If you dont need three channels then I am sure the DSL would be the better bet. I dont use pedals so I like the three channels to have the different tones on tap. The lead channel is very smooth for Satch type solos. The clean is very good once I tuned it in. The crunch is almost good at the low gain blues thing but I am still working on that one. Great amp and a little more versitle than the nomad on the rock side and the nomad more so on the blues side. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
