I have compared the G-Flex and the Buzzbomb with my Powerball.

The Earcany outshined the G-Flex in every way possible. Better projection, cuts through better, brighter and nicer lookin'!

Darkcide, what speakers did you use with the Buzzbomb?

I couldn't afford the BuzzBomb.

But I picked up a 1 x 12 EarCandy open-backed Boa.

I have a new Celestion G12H30.

But I picked up a 1950's Norwegian-made DNH GOLD Alnico speaker....for $15 from a little guitar shop in British Columbia.

It's so freakin' good....that the Celestion will stay in the box....until the DNH dies....or I die.

I gotta give EarCandy credit.

For the money, they REALLY make first-class cabinets!

Wizards: Thick and loud. Balanced mids.

Governor: Lot's of mids. Loud.

V30: Not so loud. High mids and easy to record.

Earcandy Green Machine. Haven't installed it yet.

So does it sound bright and organic, with the "covers taken off and it's breathing" kind of sound or is it dark sounding? Also are you using a 2x12 or 4x12?

Has anybody tried the EarCandy BuzzBomb, with the ENGL Blackmore?

How does it compare to other cabs Avatar,Bogner,Orange...

I Heard mine i owned with my friends Engl powerball and it sounded pretty good nice clear punchy sound gets a 4 12 sound. but the buzzbomb i noticed tends to darken the amps sound a bit sounds great mic'ed up.I like the Genz Benz g-flex 2 12 better with the powerball it didnt alter the amps sound and it remained bright and punchy..2 other 2 12 cabs that are really nice are Splawns and Vodoo's 212s both are very nice check into them
