Members BAZGUITARMAN
I keep getting conflicting information. I need to install a set of Duncans in my Rhoads V and a set of Dimarzios in my Ibanez RG. I know hummers take 500k pots, but do I use audio taper or linear taper for the volume and/or tone? Members Stratotone
You can use either. Audio taper will be smoother for both as far as transition from silent to full volume, linear will be more abrupt. For example, linear on 3 will be (this is a rough estimate) about the same as audio on 6, but both will sound the same when on 10. I'd go with audio personally. Members DracoAran
Audio. Linear are better suited for blend pots.
