Members fragglerick Posted May 25, 2007 Members Share Posted May 25, 2007 So I played my Quickrod through 2 identical cabs, one with Greenbacks and one with Vintage 30's.I loved the warmth and mids of the GB's, but I wish the bottom end could be a little tighter. Which is funny because the only thing I liked on the V30's was the tighter bottom end.My cab is a Mesa 4x12 traditional recto (not the over-sized).If I put 2 GB's in an X-pattern w/ 2 V30's will this get me the best of both worlds?
