I have learned from reading on forums that the hiss is common on these. It has been suggested that changing to better tubes can diminish the hiss; so: which tubes to swap to? Is retubing like changing a light bulb, pull one out, put another one in its place? Do tubes have to be matched or biased? Finally, any advise on a beginner book that explains tube amps????
