Members rpgle16
Is there any way to tweak the gain boost on the overdrive channel of this amp to reduce the added gain when the boost is engaged? Some sort of hidden internal adjustment like on the ADA MP-1 (trim pots)?
Members flip333
You'd like to reduce the boost wouldn't you? Its just too much. I leave it on and use other things for a solo boost, like a Bad Monkey, Dano EQ, or a channel on my Zoom multi in the loop. Its the only way I could get clean, low gain, and high gain tones easily available. BTW, the ycv50 is a very good amp. I bought a Mesa Mark III I've been playing the last couple weeks, and the Traynor is very respectable in comparision. Especially with a 2x12 8ohm extension cab under it. Members Soundstorm
Great value of an amp. 400-500 bucks for my YCV40WR when I had it. Not an end all amp, of course. I DID sell it, but such a great amp for someone on a budget.
