Members morder Posted July 4, 2007 Members Share Posted July 4, 2007 I have a rocktron velocity 300, and I've noticed that it gets quite hot, still I've never heard the fan running. Members Cougar Hunter Posted July 4, 2007 Members Share Posted July 4, 2007 Are you sure it has a fan? those might just have a heatsink (metal ribs that dissipate heat naturally) I'm not sure though. Members morder Posted July 4, 2007 Author Members Share Posted July 4, 2007 it definitely has a fan. it also has a very large heatsink, with a temperature sensor attatched to it. I'm however not sure if the temperature sensor just switches the fan on/off or if it adjusts the speed according to the heat. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
