I'm looking for a JCM 800. I've read about the few models such as 2203 2204 and 2205. Yesterday I came across the 2210. As far as I know, it's seems to be pretty much the same as a 2205 (2 footswitchable channels, reverb, efx loop, etc.) The only difference I can see is the 2205 has 50 watts of output and the 2210 has 100 watts.

Is there any other major difference ? Which one would you recommend ? .

btw I'm not looking for a 2203 or 2204.

I've got the 2210 and it's my favorite amp of all time. Everything else I play through gets compared to the overdrive on that amp. The clean channel really isn't clean, but can do a great bluesy breakup sound. I a/b'd it with a musicman RP100 combo for sparkling cleans and had the perfect setup.

get it, you won't be dissapointed. And don't worry about the 100 vs 50 watts. Headroom is a good thing
