Members Fender&EHX4ever
My tremelo (why did Fender call it a vibrato?) is extremely subtle on my vibroverb even with the intensity maxed. Much more subtle than the trem on my vibro champ. Is it supposed to be that way, or does my vibroverb need a tune-up? I've tried changing the 12ax7, but that doesn't seem to help. Members telephant
That doesnt sound right to me. Is the amp under warranty? Perhaps there is a certified Fender amp tech in your area who could take a look at it?
Members Fender&EHX4ever
I wish it had a warranty, but it's over 40 yrs old. The tremelo still works, and I can definitely hear it, but it just doesn't have a lot of depth. If that's the way it is supposed to be, I don't want to mess with it. But if it's supposed to be a deeper tremelo, I might consider opening it up and taking a look.
Members telephant
Oh, its an original?!? Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Do you have any pics? No, thats definitely not that way its supposed to be. But since you have a an amazing vintage Fender on your hands, Id get that to a tech ASAP.
Members Fender&EHX4ever
I'm hoping that it's just a matter of swapping out a tube. Does anyone recommend a tube for the trem? Right now I'm using some generic Russian brand (no markings).
