Members zosofan Posted July 11, 2007 Members Share Posted July 11, 2007 My wife recently bought me a valve jr.Its the head not the combo amp.I have been running it thru a 8 ohm home stereo speaker I had kicking around.Believe it or not its a 100 watt speaker but the little Epi drives it so hard when turned up it sounds like crap.My son just gave me a 1X12" closed back speaker box.This has me wondering what 12" speaker I should put in there to get a nice tone out of it.I play classic rock mostly with some old school country thrown in.Thanks for any ideas.Eric Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
