Members theHutton
I have a guy who is willing to part with his gretsch. He told me to make an offer that is not insulting and he will consider. its a 1967 Gretsch Anniversary - 6120 body with early Gretsch Filter-tron (humbucking) pickups. Grover tuners, original bigsby, highly playable (which vintage gretsches rarely are) after a neck reset. relic'd look. what do ya'll think? whats a reasonable offer? thx
Members Cougar Hunter
it's a toss up> '67 was a transtion year when baldwin bought gretsch and {censored}ed everything up. so, I'm not sure if yours is a baldwin or a true gretsch. this will determine the value more than anything. plus, what colour is it? I thought 60's anni's came with hilo trons. also, by "relic'ed", do you mean the thing is thrashed? I would see how it sounds first, then if I liked it, offer $400. neck reset sounds pretty serious.
