Members PC Biz Posted July 16, 2007 Members Share Posted July 16, 2007 I just picked up an old red knob Super 60 as is from a Craigslist seller. It powers up, the channels switch, the reverb is great, but it's suffering from very low volume in both channels. The amp and the tubes look practically new. My preamp tube pins always get a little singed after normal use, but these look shiney and new. I took all the tubes out and put them back in just to make sure they were tight. It has all of the original Sovtetk tubes, and the input jacks are intact. Somehow I have a feeling that a tube swap won't do the trick, but I'll try that later today.
