I'm curious what y'all might think of these lyrics to one of my songs. It's a rawnchy, dirty sonics hip-hop-ish track in 5/4 time. There's a link to my IUMA page at the bottom, where an MP3 of the song is in the "Featured Songs"...it's called "People With Plans"...anyway, rip apart these lyrics all you want:

 

buffoons with spoons looking for the rain get a monsoon/

and soon soak and choak I hate to bust your balloon/

as the reels roll by enjoy the film of life before you die/

trade your wisdom for a cup of coffee and a slice of pie/

aliens in pain impale themselves on broken window pains/

ashamed of the anti-matter that shattered the door to the astral plane/

they see the rain that washes away humanities sins/

and begins them back on that track all over again/

 

yeah, people with plans often change cause no one understands/

 

goons with balloons looking for a pop get a boom/

doomed to review the servaillance tape of your room/

glance the moment stop as somebody's making a mistake/

but you missed the sneaky one who's always on the take/

monsters with calculators use math to wrestle alligators/

just like imitators milk and mangle the innovators/

rollerskaters hangin' at the rink with their friends/

are we not all workin' toward these similar ends?/
