Members bulldawgu812
this is a worship song i wrote.... if yall couldnt tell me and riffking both go to the same church and are both involved in the praise band... he runs sound and i play lead guitar. well here is a song that is really slow... almost like the sound of epiphany by staind. Shine down you love on usFill our lives with your wholenessI fall so short of your glorySo pull me up, I am so weary I bow all of me at youWon
Members zuul777
a bit repeatative here and there. meaningful, though. i play in/arrange songs for my praise band at church, and it seems that people get bored for the more repeatative songs. you also said its really slow; all the more reason for variety. remember when writing music for this to keep the melody simple. if its hard, people cant sing along. of course if its only for a lead vocalist then go for complex
Members bulldawgu812
thanks for the help, yea the melody is real simple.... i will just have to play it a few times at my church to see what people think about it. cuz we have one song that one guy wrote and the band loves it, but the crowd hates it cuz its too complicated. so i got that in mind
Members mcflytrap
Repetitive is what worship songs are all about. The congregation is supposed to not have to concentrate on words and concentrate on God. I think the lyrics are excellent...good job. -mcfly-
