Members electricmel
DARK!!!!DDAARRKK!!!DDDAAARRRKKK!!!! I could hear Dylan singing this one to a simple, rusty-stringed old acoustic and slowly building to an intense rage. Or Kurt Cobain. Or Jeremy Enigk from Sunny Day Real Estate Or Chan Marshall from Cat Power Or the guy from Bright Eyes Or the guy from Pedro The Lion. Sorry:D ! You know what would be cool - If you juxtaposed it as a bouncy, barroom, fat-fingers piano tune. Like the Beatles Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da

Members electricmel
Those are all GREAT singers. Very much a compliment. What makes it so dark is the fact that the narrarator wants to be spared, forgiven. Very expilicit lyrics, no "beating around the bush". Could be a breathtaking song! Members bulldawgu812
thanks mel, well now that i think about it that could be a very dark song that builds to a crazy whailing guitar.
Members WattsUrizen
I like it, although I think you've been a bit lazy by just repeating things too much. You could change it up a little. For instance the ' I hang my head in shame' part is repeated three times with no change. Maybe you could just change some lines each time, or maybe the last time, or something. Members mojowilder
that's a damn good song, even though i'm not a christian...and not a real big fan of "praise" songs--you managed to write an original piece that conveyed a feeling of spirituality w/o being "preachy" very nice job
